Dr. Hulton was raised in Southern California and first moved to Portland in 1972 to attend the University of Portland where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry. She completed medical school at the University of California at Irvine in 1980, receiving a citation from the American Medical Women's Association for Scholarship Achievement. Missing the northwest, she returned to Portland to do her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Oregon Health Sciences University. She is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Hulton has been in private practice in Northwest Portland since 1984 providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of this community. One of the joys of her practice has been the long term relationships she has developed with her patients over the years, now providing care to women that she delivered at the beginning of her career. She was named one of Portland's Best Doctors by Portland Magazine in 2008.
Dr. Hulton is married with two grown sons who have taught her the joys and challenges of pregnancy and parenting. She has been a Parent Teacher Club President and a Cub Scout Leader. She and her family take advantage of the outdoor opportunities the northwest has to offer and especially enjoy hiking, rafting, skiing, and gardening. |
